The Scriptures: We believe that the Bible, both the Old Testament and New Testaments, are verbally and
plenary inspired of God, inerrant in the original autographs, and the infallible authority of faith and practice (2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Pet. 1:20-21).
The Godhead: We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons--the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19, John 1:1-20).
God the Father: We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal and only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and completely sinless in life. Christ died upon the cross as a substituionary
sacrifice for the sin of the world, arose bodily from the dead , ascended into heaven
where He now intercedes for believers, and will personally return to the earth to culminate His kingdom. Christ's atonement provides
redemption from the curse of sin, sickness, and poverty (Col. 1:15, Phil. 2:5-8, Matt. 1:18-25, Heb. 4:14-16, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Thess. 4:16-18, Matt. 25:31-46, Isa. 53:5, 1 Pet. 2:24, Matt 8:17).
God the Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of
judgment. The Holy Spirit regenerates, sanctifies, and comforts believers in Christ (John 16:7-8). The Holy Spirit baptizes (i.e. empowers) the believers for Christian service (Acts 2:1-4, 4:8-12, Eph. 5:18). The Holy Spirit dispenses His gifts to the church for the ministry of the believers and for the evangelization of the lost (I Cor. 12-14, Rom. 12:3-8).
Man: We believe that man was created in the image of God, fell into sin, and became by nature and choice a
sinner. Unless man is born again by the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit, he will not enter the kingdom of God. Salvation has been provided through the substituionary death of Jesus Christ on the cross. In order for man to partake of this salvation, he must repent of his sins and place his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is totally a gift of God, not dependent upon any righteousness or merit of man. The saved will live eternally in the presence of God, while the lost will suffer eternally in hell (Gen. 1:26, Rom. 3:10,23, John 3:3, Acts 13:38-39, 4:12, John 3:16, Matt. 25:46, 2 Cor. 5:1, 2 Thess. 1:7-10).
Church: We believe that the church is a living, spiritual body composed of those who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Christ Jesus is the Head of the Church. As a part of the spiritual body of Christ, believers come together in local congregations for fellowship, worship, and service. Entrusted to the local church are the ordinances of believer's baptism (by immersion) and the Lord's Supper. The visible church has the mandate of the Great Commission, whereby it is to proclaim the Gospel to a lost world (Acts 2:41, 15:13-17, Eph. 1:3-6, 2 Cor. 12:12-13, Matt. 28P:18-20, Acts 1:6-8).
Christian Life: We believe that every Christian is called to pursue a holy life of worship and service, to live in the reality of the Lordship of Jesus, and to proclaim the Gospel to a lost world. (Jude 3, Acts 16:30, Col. 3:1-3).
Return of the Lord: We believe in the Second Coming of Christ, following the tribulation, to rule and reign for one thousand years. Eternity will follow this thousand year reign (Titus 2:13, 1 Thess. 1:10, 4:13-18, 5:1-10, Matt. 24:21,29, 25:31).
