Welcome
to a "Place Called Hope" Six
years ago Pastor Robby and Vicky Faircloth were led by God to raise up a
non traditional inter-denomination ministry with a heart for the non-church.
With ample training (Pastor Robby: ThB., MA, MDiv., PhD. candidate; Pastor
Vicky: B.S.) and over 20 years of pastoral experience, they started HOPE
Christian Fellowship in a friends living room in McLeansville. Two years
ago they moved from their shopping center location after purchasing a beautiful
facility located in the heart of Greensboro at 610 Muirs Chapel Road. Grounded
in the principals of the God's Word and the power of the Holy Spirit, HOPE
Christian Fellowship is uniquely a place of Healing, Outreach, Prayer, Equipping.
HEALING
HCF is committed
to taking the healing power of Jesus to a hurting world filled with broken
relationships, broken bodies, and broken finances. An interracial ministry,
HCF demonstrates how to walk in love and fellowship with God and each other.
This community of believers provides prayer and support for those who suffer
with physical and emotional pain. HCF teaches people to get out of debt
by learning to walk in the blessings of God.
OUTREACH
HCF is committed
to taking the Gospel of Jesus to a lost community and a lost world. For
five years HCF ran the Fire Escape, a Christian night club for teens
|
This
past year HCF hosted a community wide Easter egg hunt(with 10,000 prize
filled eggs), which attracted over 800 participants. Ever Friday night,
ministry teams pass out soft drinks in front of local bars to share the
love of Jesus in a practical way. HCF provides hands-on missions involvement
by sponsoring work trips to Third World countries. HCF has recently published
a 24 page, full-color Gospel comic book entitled "Verdict." With over 10,000
copies in print, this comic book is being used by youth pastors all across
the nation.
PRAYER
HCF is committed
to changing lives through praise and intercession. Sunday mornings begin
with an hour of contemporary praise and worship, and culminates with communion.
As believers experience the presence of God, they develop an intimate relationship
with Him. Then they channel the love of God to the community throughout
the week by going into the neighborhoods and praying with people concerning
their individual needs.
EQUIPPING
HCF is committed
to training people to walk in faith and to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Home Fellowships and an active singles ministry provide an intimate atmosphere
for individuals to develop relationships and receive personal ministry.
The youth ministry blends innovative worship and active Christian service
to create a hunger in teens for a personal relationship with God. Teens
are |
challenged
to minister with an outreach team at area nightclubs instead of joining
the crowd inside the clubs. The children's ministry revolves around a lovable,
live size Dalmatian mascot named "Sparky". Along with some puppet co-workers,
Sparky transforms children's church into a dynamic learning experience called
"Sparky's Kids Club". Hope Christian Fellowship is a loving, growing family
where you can "come as you are" (blue jeans are welcome). However, you'll
not leave the same way you came-guaranteed!
