The Sounds of Hope at New Master's Loft

The new Master's Loft Christian Bookstore on Battleground Avenue in Greensboro recently spotlighted the talents of HCF's finest musicians. The Master's Loft continues the tradition started by their Winston-Salen location of featuring live music every Friday and Saturday night. On March 17th, during their grand opening festives, our very own praise team performed. Led by Terry and Shelly Miller, the band featured our entire group. Glenn Gibbs, Nick Holland, Dick Schubert, Jim Schubert, and Rick Talbert played many of the best loved songs from our own worship servies. Terry was spotlighted on "Beside My Strength," the title track from he and Shelley's current CD. Many members of our congregation were in attendance and the Praise Team would like to thank everyone who came out to show their support.

Glenn Gibbs, Dick Schubert and Rick Talbert were once again showcased on April 21st when "Greater Than Five" took the stage at The Master's Loft. Joined by their bandmates Bruce Knobloch and Steve Wall, GT5 kicked off their spring "Acoustic Show Tour." The concert included many of their most popular songs but with a whole new attitude. No blasting distorted guitarts, no wailing synthesizers, and no digitally processed vocal effects. This was raw, no frills Christian rock and the audience really seemed to like the new sound. If you missed this performance, you'll have one more chance as the "Acoustic Show Tour" comes to a close on Friday, May 5th at the Master's Loft in Winston-Salem at 7:00 p.m. For more information see Rick, Dick, or Glenn
