Thomas Edison once said, "If we would do what we are capable of, we would astound ourselves." I believe that this is true in many ways. Matthew 25 tells the parable of the talents. God has entrusted each of us with His property. It is the gifts and abilities taht He has places within every one of us. We all have different things that have benn places within us that I believe equip us to complete the call of God on our lives. However, many of us never even tap into the fullness that God has for us. In verse 21, the Word says, "You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy which your master enjoys." This means that when we use what God has entrusted us with, no matter how little it is, we will not only be given more as we are able to handle it, but we will walk in the joy of the Lord! What a promise! I ahve heard ove rand over again since Operation H.O.P.E. began how I've never been happier, I am flowing in the anointing and call of God for my life. I am doing what I was created to do since the foundation of the earth. Those are all true statements. I believe with all of my heart that this is what I was places here to do. However, I didn't start here. I had to do a lot of other things that I wasn't "called" to do. I have served a lot of people over the course of my Christian walk. I have done a whole lot of "dirty work" so to speak. Many times I have heard people comment on how they are waiting on God to open doors for ministry when there are doors wide open in all of our lives every day. We just need to ask God to open our eyes to see what He wants us to do. Sometimes we have to walk a long way to reach the thing that God has promised us. There are still more things, bigger things in my own life that God has promised me. I know in my heart though, that if I am not faithful with what God has given me to do today, then I cannot move forward past this point. My decisions today will affect my tomorrows. So I would ask each one of you to examine where you are. Are you doing what God has places before you today? Please continue to pray for the Operation H.O.P.E. team, the children and thier parents, and our weekly sponsors. Pray that provision will be made for Dr. Sparky's Hound Rounds for the hospitals each month and continue to lift up the volunteers for this powerful outreach. Thanks to all of you for your continued support!
